"ComplyWise for corporate service providers"

If your firm administers KYB on behalf of client companies, ComplyWise gives you a workspace per client and the same KYB Manager tooling operators use themselves. This article explains how a CSP setup differs from a standard operator workspace.

What a CSP setup looks like

  • One workspace per client. Each client company you administer lives in its own workspace, with its own KYB record, documents, members, and settings. Nothing is shared between clients: a document uploaded for one client is never visible from another.
  • The workspace switcher moves you between clients. Use the switcher in the sidebar to jump between the client workspaces you manage. Your view, permissions, and data change to match the workspace you are in.
  • Entity tooling only. CSP firms work on their clients' own business compliance: the KYB record, document collection, risk screening, and sharing. End-user Identity tooling (verifying a client's customers) is not part of a CSP setup, because you administer the business, not its user base.

What you can do for each client

Inside a client workspace you have the full Entity toolkit:

  • Build and maintain the client's KYB record: company documents, UBOs, directors, ownership structure.
  • Collect documents from the client without giving them a login, via collection links.
  • Share the finished package with banks, PSPs, and partners as a permissioned link instead of a ZIP file.
  • Run risk screening on the entity, its owners, and counterparties, where the module is enabled.

See Run KYB for your clients for the working process.

Getting a firm workspace

A firm workspace is created by the platform team, never self-served. There are two ways in:

  • You are provisioned directly. The platform team sets up the firm workspace, lists your firm's email domain as verified, and invites your first admin.
  • You are invited by a client first. A client company invites you as an external CSP; you get access to that client as an individual straight away. To bring colleagues in under one firm, open Request a CSP firm account from your landing page (or the profile menu), give the firm's name and jurisdiction, and confirm that you are authorized to request the account on the firm's behalf. The platform team reviews the request; on approval the firm workspace goes live with you as its Workspace Admin, your firm's domain is verified, and the clients that engaged you move under the firm.

Once the domain is verified, any client invitation sent to someone at your firm's email address is routed to your firm as a join request for you to approve from the Team page.

A client workspace does not have to stay with your firm forever. When a client is ready to take over their own compliance, ownership of the workspace can be handed off to them: they get their own admin seat and the KYB record, documents, and history move with the workspace intact. Contact the platform team (support@complywise.io) to arrange a handoff.
