Monitoring and removal

Every party you screen joins a register, so your screening position is always visible in one place. This reference covers the register, keeping results fresh with re-screens, and what happens when you remove a party.

The screened-parties register

The Entities & Individuals tab lists every party your workspace has screened: your own entities, their owners and directors, counterparties, and any ad-hoc subjects. Each row shows:

  • The party's name and type (company or person).
  • Its current band, with Severe · unconfirmed for results awaiting review.
  • A Hits column: the number of matches and the top source list they came from.
  • Row actions: Review, View report, and Re-screen, plus a menu with Open full report, Open linked KYB record (when the party belongs to an entity's KYB record), and Remove from monitoring.

The Wallets tab keeps the equivalent register for screened wallet addresses.

Re-screening

Sanctions lists, PEP registers, and wallet exposure all change over time, so a result is a snapshot, not a permanent answer. Click Re-screen on any row to run a fresh check.

Every run is stored separately. The screening history on the party's full report shows each run with its date and outcome, so you can demonstrate what was known at any point in time. Re-screening after a list update, a change in ownership, or before a major decision is good practice.

Removing a party

Removing takes a party off the register so it no longer appears in your active screening position.

  1. Open the row's menu and choose Remove from monitoring.
  2. A confirmation dialog spells out what is kept and what is lost before anything happens. Removal is deliberate, never a single accidental click.
  3. Confirm to remove the party.

Screening history survives removal. The stored runs, their evidence, and any review decisions remain in your workspace's records even after the party leaves the register: removal detaches the party from active monitoring, it does not erase what was screened. If you screen the same subject again later, that starts a new register entry.

Who can do this

Re-screening and removal require the screening permission, held by Workspace Admins and Editors by default. Members without it can view the register but not change it.
